When we think of Seagulls most of us think of them as those annoying birds that haunt our cars at the local drive thru. The annoying cry of their shrill and piercing song can be heard around garbage dumps and drive thru's in any city setting. It wasn't until I started photographing them at a seaside location near my home that I realized the beauty in these birds. There is a little harbour just down the road from my house and everyday when the tides go out it exposes the rocks that are usually under a few feet of water. The gulls and other birds flock to the site to feed on the crabs, starfish, snails, clams and other creatures left high and dry by the receeding tides. It's interesting to watch the birds hunt and play with their food.
Thanks for stopping by and I hope you enjoy looking at these gulls as much as I enjoyed taking their picture :)
